Cleaning Sex Toys
You must clean your sex toys for your own health / hygiene. It is inevitable that sex toys will come into contact with bodily fluids and you must always clean and dry your sex toys after use.
Any good soap can be used to clean your sex toys, but a mild antibacterial one with no odour will be best, especially if the toy is used during oral sex.
Cleaning Dildos
Dildos are very easy to clean as there are no electrical or moving parts. To clean your dildo, submerge it in warm soapy water and give it a wash. Rinse well in cold water before drying thoroughly with a clean cloth. Bacteria does not respond well to rapid changse in temperature, so make sure you rinse the dildo in very cold water.
It is a good idea to rinse your dildo before you use it again (to remove any dust / lint from the drying cloth) but we would suggest that you use warm water as a warm dildo will be much nicer to use!
Cleaning Vibrators
You must be more careful when cleaning vibrators that are not waterproof and you should never submerge vibrators in water if they are not waterproof.
Rather than submerging your vibrator, rub a lather in your hands with warm water and soap and then wash the shaft of the vibrator in your hands. Keep the battery cap facing up so that any water streams away from the vulnerable area.
If you have a waterproof vibrator, follow the instructions for dildos above.
Once you have finished cleaning your vibrator, remove the batteries for storage. This will ensure that you won’t wear out the batteries by accidentally leaving the vibrator turned on. We would recommend that you leave the battery cap off when storing your vibrator as this will prevent any moisture being trapped inside.
After cleaning your vibrator, remove the cap from the base of the vibrator and take the batteries out for storage. This way your batteries won't wear out if the vibrator is left on by mistake, and the motor is also spared being worn out too. You should leave the cap off if you think some moisture got in the vibrator, so that it can dry.
Leaving the cap off during storage prevents moisture from being trapped inside.
